Another resident in the home reported Mr. Haga was highly intoxicated and argumentative. Asleep in a chair when Sgt. Hornbeck arrived, Mr. Haga became combative. While being transported to the Washington County Jail, Mr. Haga banged his head on the protective screen in Sgt. Hornbeck’s cruiser and stated he was going to claim Sgt. Choked and struck again, Ms. Hendrickson said she bit and scratched Mr. Hall in an attempt to escape. Mr. Hall eventually released Ms. Hendrickson but not before she suffered a number of abrasions. The Deputies pursued the vehicle, which was driven by Wesley Jester, age 42, 861 Walsh Road, Vincent, and conducted a traffic stop on Turkey Hollow Road. Patted down for weapons after he exited his vehicle, Mr. Jester was found in possession of a marijuana pipe. A more extensive search for drugs in Mr. Jester’s vehicle resulted in the discovery of an unloaded .380 handgun under the driver’s seat and a loaded magazine for the weapon in the console. In addition to being arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia, Mr. Jester was charged with driving under a suspended license.
