On 2 Apr 10 Sgt. Thorpe responded to a residence on McVicar Lane in Vincent where a thirty-seven year old man inflicted several cuts on his left arm using a knife. Interviewed by Sgt. Thorpe, the victim commented that he was upset due to a recent breakup with his girlfriend and had no intention of seriously harming himself. The victim refused treatment/transport for the injuries emergency personnel deemed superficial.

On 2 Apr 10 a realtor for Century 21 reported the previous day she discovered electrical wiring missing from listed with her at 10 North Fork Road, New Matamoras. The realtor stated sometime since 26 Mar the unknown suspect(s) removed all of the copper wiring from the air conditioner and furnace in the basement and also from the breaker box in the garage. This case remains under investigation (809).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Kenneth Ray Rogers, age 22, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for being in possession of an open container of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Rogers was arrested on Sacra Via by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 10 at 5:31 am.

Kelly Jane Farnsworth, age 22, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Farnsworth was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 10 at 9:34 am.

Justin Alexzander Simpson, age 21, Marietta, for tampering with evidence, illegally manufacturing drugs, for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and for multiple counts of possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs, all felonies. Simpson was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 10 at 1:41 pm.

Mark Allen Bennett, age 20, 211 Sixth Street, Beverly, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Bennett was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Willson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 10 at 2:35 pm.
