On 24 Mar 10 Deputy Sheriff Mayle responded to the scene of death of a sixty-two year old New Matamoras resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Rennelle Brooks McKitrick, age 27, 243 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Brooks was arrested at her residence by BCI&I Agent Fitch and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 10 at 2:44 pm.

Richard Ryan Thomas, age 24, 62 Brush Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Thomas was arrested at his residence by Lt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 10 at 9:23 pm.

Gary Wayne Murray, age 48, 1030 Market Street, Parkersburg, for OVI, for operating a vehicle with an expired license and for having an inoperable headlight, all misdemeanors. Murray was arrested on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 10 at 10:05 pm.
