On 22 Mar 10 Danny J. Delong, age 62, 28 Briar Bey Lane, Fleming, reported he has been arguing with his wife constantly for quite some time and he is concerned for her welfare due to her recent behavior. Interviewing both parties, Deputy Sheriff Rhodes determined no threats or act of physical violence occurred. After counseling Mr. and Mrs. Delong on the possible consequences of their actions Deputy Rhodes closed this case as unfounded.

On 22 Mar 10 Michael L. Roux, age 38, 125 Ward Street, Marietta, reported he and his live-in girlfriend Katrina Nolan, age 38, were visiting a friend at 10 Browns Road Apt. 3D, Marietta, when an argument erupted between them and Ms. Nolan struck him in the face several times. Mr. Roux stated the three of them had been drinking all night and around 5 am he confronted Ms. Nolan about her having an affair. Becoming aggressive, Ms. Noland attacked Mr. Roux and then fled the apartment with a knife. By the time Deputy Sheriffs Carr and Rhodes arrived, Ms. Nolan had returned to the apartment and was on the back patio with a paring knife and a fillet knife nearby. Approached by the Deputies, Ms. Nolan claimed she was holding a knife behind her back and ignored commands to show her hands. Deputy Carr then noticed Ms. Nolan was not in possession of a weapon, forced her to the ground and handcuffed her. Confirming Mr. Roux’s account of the events with a witness, Deputy Carr arrested Ms. Noland for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 22 Mar 10 Marjorie Counts, age 78, 894 Way Road, Belpre, reported a Troy Bilt rototiller and a Craftsman snow blower were stolen from a storage building on her property at some point during the past several months. Ms. Counts stated the stolen items were purchased for approximately $1,500. This case remains under investigation (200).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Katrina Marie Lynn Nolan, age 38, 125 Ward Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Nolan was arrested at Cedarbark Apartments by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Mar 10 at 8:10 am.

Robert Matthew Parrish, age 33, 76 Hazelwood Road, Marietta, for aggravated burglary, a felony. Parrish was picked up at the Mansfield Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Mar 10 at 3:05 pm.

Joshua Edgar Winland, age 26, 248 Pennsylvania Avenue Apt. E, Marietta, for being a fugitive from justice. Winland was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Mar 10 at 10:50 pm.
