On 14 Mar 10 a thirty-five year old Fleming
resident reported her fifteen year old daughter became violent
and attacked her after she refused to allow her daughter to
wear Miley Cyrus sunglasses to school the following day. The
victim stated her daughter has a low IQ and other mental health
problems and she fears for the safety of her two and a half
year old son when her daughter becomes violent. Deputy Sheriff
Anderson is consulting Juvenile Court official to determine
how to resolve this case.
On 14 Mar 10 Timothy P. Amrine, age 27, 105
State Route 555 Apt. 1, Little Hocking, reported he was dropping
off his four year old daughter at his estranged wife’s
home in Marietta when his wife’s sister attacked him.
Arising over the fact that Mr. Amrine brought along his new
girlfriend, the suspect allegedly grabbed Mr. Amrine by the
neck. The suspect claims Mr. Amrine initiated the altercation
be shoving her away from his truck and stated she only grabbed
him by the collar in retaliation. This case remains open pending
the completion of additional interviews (296, 1184).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Kirk Alan Mason, age 22, 704 Elm Street Apt. 1, Belpre, for
driving under a suspended license and for failing to obey a
traffic control device, both misdemeanors. Mason was arrested
at the intersection of Farson Street and State Route 7 by Patrolman
Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 10 at 3:18 am.
Nathan Andrew Mercer, age 32, 121 Muskingum Drive Apt. B,
Marietta, for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes
of travel, both misdemeanors. Mercer was arrested near milepost
seventeen on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 10
at 4:16 am.
Michael Anthony Karcher, age 21, 7909 Dalzell Road, Lower
Salem, for failure to appear and for failure to appear at a
court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Karcher
was arrested near milepost six on State Route 821 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Mar 10 at 7:55 am.
