On 13 Mar 10 Deputy Sheriff Anderson arrested
William H. Keel, age 47, 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking,
for domestic violence. During an altercation that afternoon,
Mr. Keel allegedly threatened his seventeen year old son and
grabbed him by the neck. Mr. Keel confirmed he was involved
in a shouting and shoving match with his son but denied grabbing
his neck or threatening him.
On 13 Mar 10 Jeffrey Barkas, age 44, 15211
Green Hill Road, Cleveland, reported he owns a trailer he uses
for hunting at 655 Coon Run Road in Lower Salem and sometime
since it was last used in January an unknown suspect(s) broke
into it. Mr. Barkas stated the items he believes were stolen
are an SKS rifle, a handgun and two magazines, a shotgun, ammunition
containers and hunting clothing. The stolen items have an estimated
value of over $2,000. This case remains under investigation
(1184).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
William Herman Keel, age 47, 1666 School House Road, Little
Hocking, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Keel was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 13 Mar 10 at 9:58 pm.
Ralph Burdette Stewart, age 37, 813 Front Street, Marietta,
for theft, criminal trespassing, breach of recognizance and
for violating the terms of his probation, all misdemeanors.
Stewart was picked up in Belpre by Patrolman Chapman of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Mar 14 at 12:19 am.
