On 12 Mar 10 Richard T. Seebaugh, age 55, 5324 Stillwell Road, Davisville, WV, reported his wife Laura, age 46, attempted to strike him with her vehicle at their farm on Heldman Road in Wingett Run. Mr. Seebaugh stated the two began arguing early in the morning and he left for their farm in order to avoid further confrontations. Following her husband, Mrs. Seebaugh aimed to end the argument and was further angered when her husband refused to speak to her while he was working at their farm. As he walked away, Mr. Seebaugh commented that he heard his wife’s vehicle accelerating and when he turned around he saw his wife driving towards him. Jumping out of the way, Seebaugh retreated to the house on the property and attempted to phone for help but his wife ripped the phone from the wall. Mr. Seebaugh fled once more, this time to his residence on Smith Hill Road and his wife again followed him and snatched the phone from him as he tried to phone for assistance. Mrs. Seebaugh attempted to thwart her husband’s escape by parking her vehicle behind her husband’s but Mr. Seebaugh was able to use his vehicle to push his wife’s out of the way. Interviewed by Deputy Sheriff Simmons, Mrs. Seebaugh admitted breaking a phone and to pursuing her husband in order to resolve their disagreement. Though she denied attempting to strike him with her car, Mrs. Seebaugh stated she did follow her husband with her vehicle. Based on his investigation, Deputy Simmons arrested Mrs. Seebaugh for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Sedequa Jena McDowell, age 18, 400 Russell Street Apt. 3, Beckley, WV, for operating a vehicle with an expired license, speeding and for giving false information to avoid a ticket, all misdemeanors. McDowell was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 10 at 3:00 am.

Glendon Lorain Crawford, age 45, 87 Tower Road, Little Hocking, for criminal damaging and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Crawford turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 10 at 3:04 pm.

Lucas Allen Fine, age 22, 410 Locust Street, Coshocton, OH, for a felony charge of receiving stolen property and for misdemeanor charges of failure to reinstate his operator’s license, hit-skip and failure to control. Fine was arrested on Pennsylvania Avenue by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 10 at 3:30 pm.

Lawrence Gene Gasner, age 22, 328 Sixth Street, Coshocton, OH, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Gasner was arrested on Pennsylvania Avenue by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 10 at 4:03 pm.

Laura Joan Seebaugh, age 46, 5324 Stillwell Road, Davisville, WV, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Seebaugh was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 10 at 8:00 pm.
