On 3 Mar 10 an employee of Marathon, 15 Arrowhead
Road, Little Hocking, reported the driver of an unknown vehicle
backed into and damaged two gas pumps at the station between
11 pm on 2 Mar and 5 am on 3 Mar. This incident remains under
investigation (296).
On 3 Mar 10 Deputy Sheriff Simmons and the
Devola Fire Department responded to the scene of a drug overdose
involving a twenty-eight year old male. The victim stated he
ingested a handful of his blood pressure medication because
he felt his wife no longer loved him. Transported to Selby
Hospital, the victim should recover fully.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shawn Matthew Schofield, age 33, 22 Suzanne Street, Little
Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Schofield was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 10 at
8:40 am.
James Curtis Parmiter, age 28, 315 Main Street Apt. B, Caldwell,
for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Parmiter turned
himself in to Deputy Sheriff Mankins and was processed into
the Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 10 at 9:02 am.
James Arthur Anderson, age 38, 2400 Hanvey
Avenue, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested at his residence by Probation
Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 3 Mar 10 at 9:39 am.
Sherman Dewayne Holder Jr., age 26, 2123 Jenny Lane, Washington
Courthouse, OH, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor.
Holder was arrested on Eighth Street by Patrolman Ellenwood
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 3 Mar 10 at 10:09 am.
