On 17 Feb 10 a twenty-six year old Marietta resident reported she believes a former friend opened a myspace account in her name and used the false personal profile to post disparaging comments. This case remains under investigation (200).

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR TRAFFICKING IN MARIJUANA

Under the direction of Task Force Agents, a confidential informant purchased twenty-six grams of marijuana from Derrik R. McGee, age 26, 610 Montgomery Street, Marietta, on 16 Feb 10. Following the controlled purchase at 233 Pennsylvania Avenue, Marietta, Agents arrested Mr. McGee and recovered the $200 the informant used to purchase the marijuana. McGee, who was previously arrested for trafficking in drugs in 2006, is scheduled to appear in Marietta Municipal Court at 1 pm on 17 Feb 10.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Carina Lynn Wittekind, age 26, 1007 Pike Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Wittekind was arrested near Giant Eagle by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Feb 10 at 4:10 am.

Bo Damian Ladeaux, age 20, 207A Rummer Road, Marietta, for failure to register a change of address as a registered sex offender, a felony. Ladeaux turned himself in to Lt. Gherke at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Feb 10 at 10:52 am.
