On 13 Feb 10 a witness reported observing
a male subject arguing with a female subject in the driver’s
side of a vehicle at the Bad Bing parking lot at 47410 State
Route 7, New Matamoras. Shortly thereafter another complainant
reported two individuals in a vehicle matching the same description
appeared to be arguing and struck a pile of snow with the vehicle.
Deputy Sheriff Carr located the vehicle in question but could
not rouse the residents of the home where the vehicle’s
owner lived. This case remains under investigation.
On 13 Feb 10 Deputy Sheriff McLeish arrested
Gary L. Harris, age 19, 325 Main Street, Lower Salem, for driving
under a suspended license, for operating a vehicle with expired
license plates and for possession of drugs. Stopped near his
residence for having license plates that expired in 2009, Mr.
Harris produced a small bag of marijuana while being interview
by Deputy McLeish.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jessica Lynn Gutberlet, age 25, 915 Front
Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a
misdemeanor. Gutberlet was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital
by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 10
at 5:50 am.
Keri Ann Lafatch, age 31, 1944 Briggs Hill
Road, Belpre, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Lafatch
was picked up at the Athens County line by Deputy Sheriff Anderson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 10
at 3:45 pm.
Gary Lynn Harris, age 19, 325 Main Street,
Lower Salem, for driving under a suspended license, for operating
a vehicle with expired license plates and for possession of
drugs, all misdemeanors. Harris was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff McLeish and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Feb 10 at 11:40 pm.
