On 11 Feb 10 Steve Deem, age 35, 1060 Hocking
Road, Little Hocking, reported his sixteen year old stepson
phoned him at a relatives house and said he was sitting in
the living room when a masked male subject attempted to break
through the home’s front door. Mr. Deem’s stepson
stated the suspect broke a small window on the door and fled
on foot when he could not gain entry. Examining the scene,
Deputy Sheriff Smeeks could not find any footprints or tire
tracks in the freshly fallen snow. Nevertheless, this case
remains under investigation.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Mark M. Smith, age 20, 113 Pickering Street,
Parkersburg, for hit-skip, driving without a license, theft
and obstructing on 17 Dec 09.
Tylon C. Carr, age 25, 2401 Morningside Avenue,
Parkersburg, for failing to appear for a hearing on 10 Feb
10.
Earles M. Craddock, age 55, PO Box 95, Pennsboro,
WV, for failing to appear for pretrial on 8 Feb 10.
Gary L. Losey, age 27, 104 Riley Drive Apt.
5, Marietta, for failing to appear for pretrial on 8 Feb 10.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Geoffery Allen Davis, age 54, 615 Montgomery
Street, Marietta, for felonious assault. Davis was picked up
at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 10
at 10:07 am.
Herman James Fickisen, age 49, 3804 Buckingham Road, Logan,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors.
Fickisen was picked up at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail
in Nelsonville by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 10 at 3:32 pm.
Trent William Offenberger, age 34, 306 Colegate Drive, Marietta,
for attempted rape, a felony. Offenberger was picked up at
the Chillicothe Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11
Feb 10 at 3:57 pm.
Jeremiah Dale Clutter, age 23, 113 Spring Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Clutter was arrested
at 736 Greene Street by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Feb 10 at 5:16 pm.
