On 28 Jan 10 Ronald D. Vogelson, age 50, 150
Camelot Road Lot 39, Belpre, reported he parked his employer’s
tractor-trailer along Camelot Road, set the air brake and left
the vehicle while he entered his home. When he looked out the
window moments later he saw the vehicle rolling down a slight
incline. Coasting off the side of the road, the trailer sideswiped
three gas meters and the front of the semi-truck struck the
front of a vehicle parked in front of Lot 22. The vehicles
and the gas meters sustained light damage (1293).
FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES
Major Crimes Task Force Agents last night arrested four suspects
on various drug charges. The arrests followed the execution
of a search warrant at the Hidden Meadows Apartment Complex,
1415 Lancaster Street Apt. 101F, Marietta. The suspects arrested
and their respective charges are:
When Agents arrived to execute the warrant, Mr. Farmer refused
them entry and ran to a bathroom in his apartment. Gaining
entry, Agents discovered Farmer attempting to wash multiple
balloons of heroin down the sink. A total of twenty-three balloons
of heroin were recovered from the apartment.
Present at the time of the search warrant’s execution,
Deems was arrested on charges that he sold two balloons of
heroin to an undercover operative on 9 June 09 and on 19 June
09.
While Agents were searching the apartment, Ms. Coleman arrived
in her vehicle along with Mr. Dunn. Patting down Ms. Coleman
for weapons, Agents discovered three syringe caps in her pockets.
Ms. Coleman then granted permission to searcher her vehicle,
at which time Agents located a balloon of heroin that Ms. Coleman
admitted was hers.
Mr. Dunn was arrested on a charge stemming from a twenty year
old woman’s drug overdose at Dunn’s residence on
13 May 09. The victim alleged Mr. Dunn provided to her and
subsequently injected her with the heroin that led to her overdose.
All four suspects are being held without bond pending their
initial appearance in Marietta Municipal Court at 1 pm this
afternoon.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Edrina Marie Long, age 34, Detroit, MI, for possession of
drugs, a felony. Long was arrested along the ramp to Interstate
77 by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 10
at 12:30 am.
Brittany Ann Coleman, age 22, 103 Scammel Street, Marietta,
for possession of drugs, a felony. Coleman was arrested at
1415 Lancaster Street by Detective Smithberger of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Jan 10 at 12:55 am.
Jason Ian Dunn, age 24, 103 Scammel Street, Marietta, for
corrupting another with drugs, a felony. Dunn was arrested
at 1415 Lancaster Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 28 Jan 10 at 12:55 am.
Steven Allen Newhouse, age 33, 1041 River Road, Marietta,
for a felony charge of improperly handling a firearm in a vehicle
and for misdemeanor charges of .17 breath OVI, failure to control,
possession of drugs and improperly handling a firearm in a
vehicle. Newhouse was arrested on State Route 821 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 28 Jan 10 at 1:40 am.
Tinikka Lee Suttle, age 20, 1100 14th Avenue, Vienna, for
underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Suttle was
arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Nohe of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 28 Jan 10 at 4:05 am.
Crystal Mae Dulaney, age 21, 60 Johnson Creek Road, Parkersburg,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Dulaney was arrested
on Colegate Drive by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 28 Jan 10 at 4:58 am.
