On 18 Jan 10 an employee of Carper Well Service, 30745 State Route 7, Marietta, reported sometime between 5 pm on 14 Jan and 7:30 am on 15 Jan an unknown suspect(s) entered a garage at the business, rummaged through two file cabinets and stole 100 foot and seventy-five foot lengths of welding leads. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 18 Jan 10 Jerry J. Perrine, age 37, 8585 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, reported he inadvertently left his wallet on an office desk at Iddings Trucking and when he retrieved his wallet fifteen minutes later $381 was missing from it. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 18 Jan 10 Sherry Fulton, age 60, 1220 McGrath Road, Macksburg, reported when she attempted to fill her car with gas that morning she discovered what appears to be sugar blocking the gas tank’s intake opening. This case remains under investigation (594).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David Wayne Evans, age 34, 16120 State Route 821, Macksburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Evans turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Reeder and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jan 10 at 4:00 pm.

Billy Dale Smith Jr., age 43, 209 Elm Street, Marietta, for two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Smith was arrested on Harmar Street by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jan 10 at 10:18 pm.
