On 14 Jan 10 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks requested
a summons for April A. Eifler, age 19, 1959 Smith Road, Barlow,
for disorderly conduct. Earlier in the evening Ms. Eifler visited
her parents’ residence 11635 State Route 550, Fleming,
a voiced loudly her disapproval of the way her father raised
her. Ms. Eifler’s father stated his daughter began yelling,
used profanity and punched a hanging picture when she left
the house.
On 14 Jan 10 Charles Warner, age 55, 260 Greenbrier
Circle, Marietta, reported he believes a family member took
a .38 caliber handgun from his residence without permission.
This case remains under investigation (707).
On 14 Jan 10 Marilyn Thomas, age 62, 2905
Reynolds Run Road, Newport, reported a family member is in
the process of moving out of her home and she alleges that
the family member ransacked her residence when she was not
home and also removed a gas heater without permission. This
case remains under investigation (1104).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brian Andre Ellis, age 33, 100 13th Street Apt. 72, Parkersburg,
for possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. Ellis was arrested
on South Seventh Street by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Jan 10 at 2:53 am.
Denise Rena Strode, age 37, 44491 Fairground Road Apt. 7,
Caldwell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Strode was arrested at Marietta
Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Jan 10 at 6:36 am.
Misty Dawn Winchell, age 28, 9552 State Route
550, Vincent, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor.
Winchell was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Offenberger of
the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Jan 10 at 12:19 pm.
Richard Dexter Arnett, age 65, 108 Raul Street, Paden City,
WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors.
Arnett was arrested at the Lafayette Plaza by Patrolman Caldwell
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 14 Jan 10 at 5:36 pm.
Roy James Campbell III, age 23, 129 ½ East Spring Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Campbell was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Gragan of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Jan 10 at 6:00 pm.
Jodie Dawn Miller, age 26, 27360 State Route 7 Lot 17, Marietta,
for telephone harassment, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Mayle and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 14 Jan 10 at 8:25 pm.
