On 7 Jan 10 John Barickman, age 37, 27335 State Route 7, Marietta, reported he was away from his residence between 8 am and 5 pm on 11 Dec 09 and at some point during that time frame a Craftsman toolbox worth approximately $3,000 was stolen off his porch. This case remains under investigation (308).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Charles Lewis Sexton Sr., age 47, 1209 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Sexton was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan 10 at 11:00 am.

Jesse Ryan Cain, age 25, 31 Parage Court, Berkley Springs, WV, for felony charges of theft, automobile theft and disrupting public services and for a misdemeanor charge of theft. Cain was picked up at the Huttonsville (WV) Correctional Center by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan 10 at 11:41 am.

Timothy Matthew Ryan, age 19, 115 Byers Road, Marietta, for a felony charge of disrupting public services and for a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Ryan was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan 10 at 2:33 pm.

Scott Michael Zimmerman, age 30, 3929 Watertown Road, Waterford, for OVI, failure to control, for consuming alcohol in a vehicle and for operating a vehicle without a license, all misdemeanors. Zimmerman was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan 10 at 9:20 pm.
