On 4 Jan 10 Deputy Sheriff Holbert issued minor misdemeanor citations to Thomas E. Minton, age 31, PO Box 784, Fostoria, OH, and Jeremiah S. Minton, age 30, 1022 Hickory Lane, Anderson, SC, for disorderly conduct by fighting. The brothers, who were visiting relatives at 16488 State Route 339, Waterford, over the holidays, were involved in several arguments over the weekend that culminated in a physical altercation. Thomas admitted instigating the confrontation the night before by making unwanted comments toward his brother and his girlfriend and stated he shoved Jeremiah after he punched him in the face. Jeremiah confirmed his brother’s account of the skirmish and stated that Thomas also punched him during the fray. Neither party exhibited injuries nor was any property damaged.

On 4 Jan 10 the owner of the Station Carryout, 595 Joe Skinner Road, Belpre, reported when he reviewed security footage for the previous evening he noticed a customer picked up a case of Coors Light on his way out of the store and did not pay for the beer. This case remains under investigation (1293).
