On 21 Dec 09 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested a summons for Timothy R. King, age 20, 506 McDonald Road, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by fighting and for Mr. King’s seventeen year old sister for delinquency by disorderly conduct. Upset that his sister may have spoken to an older male on the phone, Mr. King attempted to wrestle the phone from his sister. As Mr. King left the room, his sister then pushed and hit him in the back. In retaliation, Mr. King grabbed his sister by the neck and shoved her against a wall. Neither party reported any injuries nor did they report fearing for their safety.

On 21 Dec 09 Melissa Setterstrom, age 40, 100 Sierra Drive, Marietta, reported she was away from her residence during the past twenty-four hours and sometime during that time frame an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered her home. Ms. Setterstrom said the suspect(s) used her hot tub, ransacked her room and stole a diamond ring, diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet, two Coach purses and her prescription bottles of Vicodin, Flexeril and Vyvanse. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 21 Dec 09 Karen S. McConnell, age 42, 203 Oak Drive, Belpre, reported when she and her daughter began reviewing her daughter’s financial accounts she discovered her daughter’s checkbook, a credit card and a date book containing personal information were all missing from their home. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 21 Dec 09 a witness reported her friend, Shanna Jewell, age 31, 200 Brittigan Circle, Marietta, may have been involved in a domestic violence incident. Interviewed by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks, Ms. Jewell stated she was in an argument with the father of her three children but she would not divulge any further details. Ms. Jewell said no physical contact occurred and at no point did she fear for her safety. As a result, Deputy Smeeks closed this case as unfounded.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Jeffrey M. Beall, age 18, 1406 Winding Road, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment.

David W. Evans, age 34, 560 High Street, Macksburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $224.90.

Marlena K. Glidden, age 48, 202 Bridge Street, Caldwell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,160.70.

Joshua L. Gore, age 21, 130 Cemetery Road, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment.

Samantha C. Lemon, age 27, 1560 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $533.20.

Christian M. McCarty, age 18, 125 Hickory Street, Lower Salem, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $188.50.

Dennis H. North, age 41, 300 S. Rankin Road Apt. 26, Edmund, OK, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for arraignment on 7 Dec 09.

Kevin W. Reynolds, age 39, 8877 McKown Lane, Beverly, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment.

Wayne A. Rhodes, age 21, 5009 Kidder Road, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,354.28.

Russell A. McCabe, age 42, 50 Railroad Street, Whipple, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in then sum of $214.50.

James E. Wright, age 42, 110 1/2 Lee Street, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $773.50.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David Allen Sayres, age 44, 413 Eighth Street, Parkersburg, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Sayres was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 09 at 11:20 am.

Richard Eugene Hagar, age 45, 603 Main Street, Belpre, for rape, a felony. Hagar was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Thorpe of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 09 at 5:46 pm.
