On 20 Dec 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson and the
Beverly-Waterford Fire Department were dispatched to a structure
fire at property owned by Aaron Vaughn, age 42, at 55 Albright
Road, Beverly. The fire caused significant damage to the storage
building which housed two tractors, a mower, four ATVs, a pleasure
boat, two motorcycles, two welders and numerous guns. The cause
of the fire appears to be accidental.
On 20 Dec 09 a thirty-eight year old Belpre
resident reported his seventeen year old son did not return
home as requested and was possibly en route to Port Columbus
to board a flight to see his mother in San Diego. The teenager’s
father later received word from his son’s mother that
the juvenile was on a plane on his way to California. This
case remains under investigation (308).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Allen Sayres, age 44, 413 Eighth Street, Parkersburg,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Sayres
was arrested on Putnam Street by Patrolman Ellenwood of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 20 Dec 09 at 4:30 pm.
William Junior Toncray, age 41, 908 Main Street Apt. C, Belpre,
for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer,
a felony. Toncray was picked up at the Moundsville Correctional
Center by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 20 Dec 09 at 7:00 pm.
