On 14 Dec 09 Mary J. Pinkerton, age 66, 270
Greene Street, Newport, reported her son used to rent property
she owns at 7885 Germantown Road, Lower Salem, and she believes
in the spring of this year he sold timber on the property without
her permission. This case remains under investigation (610).
On 14 Dec 09 Bobby R. Crawford, age 38, 1526
Swift Road, Waterford, reported his fifteen year old daughter’s
purse, containing $20 and miscellaneous other items, was stolen
from his vehicle at the Waterford High School parking lot while
the two attended a basketball game that evening. This case
remains under investigation (790).
On 14 Dec 09 a forty-one year old Marietta
resident reported her seventeen year old daughter disobeys
house rules and did not return home after spending the night
with a friend on 11 Dec. Located at school on 15 Dec, the teenager
said she needed to get out of her home because her parents
drink alcohol nearly every day, fight and turn over furniture.
The juvenile said she called her mother twice over the weekend
but that her mother did not answer the phone. Deputy Sheriff
Mankins forwarded this case to Children’s Services for
further action, if needed.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Nemo Lee Croston, age 32, 300 Buckeye
Ridge Road, Chesterhill, for driving under a suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Croston was arrested in Beverly by Lt. Stackpole
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 09 at 12:09 am.
Eric Theodore Kidder, age 38, 2105 Pride Avenue,
Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Kidder was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 09
at 3:00 pm.
Daniel Scott Powell, age 34, 438 Main Street, Chillicothe,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors.
Powell was picked up at the Ross County Jail by Deputy Sheriff
Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14
Dec 09 at 3:34 pm.
