On 12 Dec 09 Deputy Sheriff Reeder arrested
Katie D. Cline, age 21, 27400 State Route 7 Lot 63, Reno, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication. Stumbling on and off the
sidewalk near 1200 Pike Street, Ms. Cline repeatedly cried “I
want my mommy” when Deputy Reeder stopped to assist her.
Ms. Cline appeared to have vomit on her shirt and slurred her
speech as she explained she was walking to Wal-Mart where her
mother worked. When transported to the Washington County Jail
for her safety, Ms. Cline tested .148 BAC.
On 12 Dec 09 Tracy L. Tice, age 24, 3719 Blue
Knob Road Apt. 3, Marietta, reported her live-in boyfriend
Kenneth A. Casada Jr., age 26, held against her will in their
apartment that evening. During an argument over their relationship,
Ms. Tice said Mr. Casada threw her to the floor, jumped on
top of her and drew his fist back as if he was going to punch
her in the face. When he arose, Mr. Casada retrieved a knife
from the kitchen and launched into a diatribe as he brandished
the knife and ordered his girlfriend to remain seated on the
living room couch. After being held at knife point for twenty
minutes and tormented through Mr. Casada’s threats to “get
rid of her” Ms. Tice escaped out a back door when Mr.
Casada left the room. Mr. Casada fled the residence in his
truck but was arrested several hours later. As a result of
the incident Mr. Casada was charged with felony counts of abduction
and domestic violence.
On 12 Dec 09 Melissa Warrener, age 29, 122
Tennis Center Drive Apt. 36, Marietta, reported she was involved
in a verbal disagreement with her live-in boyfriend over Christmas
gifts. Interviewing Ms. Warrener and her boyfriend, Deputy
Sheriff Reeder determined the incident was only verbal and
that no threat or act of domestic violence occurred.
On 12 Dec 09 Deputy Sheriff Holbert and the
Beverly and Lowell fire departments were dispatched to a fire
at a mobile home owned by Donna M. Dobbins, age 63, at 1025
Tick Hill Road, Lowell. Ms. Dobbins stated she owns the residence,
her daughter’s family reside there and they were out
of town. Fire officials believe the fire was accidental and
caused by an electrical overload on a computer wire. The home
sustained substantial damage due to the fire and the water
used to extinguish it.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Daniel Allen Patchett, age 45, 1200 Muskingum River Road,
Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Patchett was
arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 09 at 12:15 am.
Jamie Lynn Morgenstern, age 29, 312 Broad Street, Macksburg,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Morgenstern was arrested
in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
12 Dec 09 at 2:00 am.
Chad Eric Morgenstern, age 31, 401 Third Street, Macksburg,
for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Morgenstern was
arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 12 Dec 09 at 2:55 am.
Katie Danielle Cline, age 21, 27400 State Route 7 Lot 63,
Reno, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Cline was arrested at 1200 Pike Street by Deputy Sheriff Reeder
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 09
at 9:00 pm.
Kenneth A. Casada Jr., age 26, 3719 Blue Knob
Road Apt. 3, Marietta, for domestic violence and abduction,
both felonies. Casada was arrested near the Comfort Inn by
Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 09
at 10:09 pm.
