On 8 Dec 09 Deputy Sheriff Mayle responded to the scene of death of a seventy-four year old Marietta resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Donald Leon Lassiter, age 43, 705 Ninth Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Lassiter was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 09 at 2:25 am.

Ashley Danielle Siers, age 20, 7773 Kathy Lane, Northfield, OH, for failure to control and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Siers was arrested on Interstate 77 by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 09 at 12:15 pm.

Mayford Lee Miller, age 51, 1114 Walsh Road, Vincent, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 09 at 2:15 pm.
