On 30 Nov 09 David J. Skinner, age 51, 715
Joe Skinner Road, Belpre, reported a red, twelve foot long
single axle trailer was stolen from its storage location at
595 Joe Skinner Road sometime between 23 Nov and 26 Nov. This
case remains under investigation (200).
On 30 Nov 09 the manager of Pioneer City Auto
Parts, 131 Schultheis Lane, Marietta, reported during the month
he believes an individual removed several items from the salvage
yard without permission. The manager stated a friend informed
him he was at the suspect’s residence in Boaz and observed
engine blocks, aluminum wheels and radiators in the yard that
he believes were stolen from the business. This case remains
under investigation (608).
On 30 Nov 09 Jeff Snyder, age 50, 71 Riverview
Drive, Lowell, reported between 9:30 pm and 11 pm that evening
an unknown suspect, possibly in a vehicle with loud exhaust,
damaged a lattice on his property where he keeps his trash
cans. This case remains under investigation (296).
On 30 Nov 09 Mindy Cool, age 22, 20605 State
Route 821, Dexter City, reported an argument ensued with her
husband when she confronted him about his spending of money
on tobacco rather than on diapers and their electric bill.
Mrs. Cool stated she was about to slap her husband for calling
her a derogatory name when he grabbed her arms and began pushing
her out the door of their trailer. Mrs. Cool said she eventually
slapped her husband and spit in his face and in retaliation
her husband spit his snuff in her face. Completing interviews
of both parties, Sgt. Underwood and Deputy Sheriff Mankins
determined each party was equally at fault and neither would
face charges for domestic violence. Mrs. Cool and her husband
agreed to separate for the evening until their tempers calmed.
On 30 Nov 09 Helena Riggs, age 35, 300 Starlite
Drive Lot 7, Marietta, reported her 2005 Pontiac Grand Am was
parked at 1455 East Branch Road, Lowell between 28 and 30 Nov
and at some point during that time an unknown suspect(s) scratched
the driver’s side and punctured the rear passenger side
tire. This case remains under investigation (790).
The following individual
was processed into the Washington County Jail:
Dennis Harold North, age 41, Reno Motel, Reno,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. North
was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman McCracken of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Nov 09 at 8:19 pm.
