On 28 Nov 09 Heather M. Parrish, age 38, 136
Oak Drive, Little Hocking, reported she was involved in a heated
argument with her husband over disciplining his seventeen year
old son and her husband attempted to keep her from leaving
the residence by repeatedly opening her car door. Interviewing
both parties, Deputy Sheriff Smeeks determined no threat was
made and that Mrs. Parrish did not fear for her safety. Therefore,
Deputy Smeeks closed this case as unfounded.
On 28 Nov 09 Loretta M. Snyder, age 53, 71
Riverview Lane, Lowell, reported she discovered what appear
to be four bullet holes above the headboard of her thirty-six
year old son’s bed along with a threatening note. Upon
seeing the note, Mrs. Snyder’s son believes the person(s)
responsible for the bullet holes and note may also have scratched
and scribed a letter on his truck. This case remains under
investigation (1104).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Elizabeth Dawn Thompson, age 23, 1701 Pine Valley Drive Apt.
65, Sissonville, WV, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Thompson turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff
Caltrider and was processed into the Washington County Jail
on 28 Nov 09 at 6:00 pm.
Charles Lewis Sexton Sr., age 47, 1209 Cisler Drive Apt. D,
Marietta, for a felony charge of assaulting a peace officer
and for misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing and obstructing
official business. Sexton was arrested on Cisler Drive by Patrolman
Gragan of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Nov 09 at 7:40 pm.
Matthew Richard Jett, age 24, 312 Third Street Apt. 2, Lowell,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Jett was
arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Nov 09 at 11:30 pm.
