On 24 Nov 09 the Reno Fire Department transported
a forty-three year old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial
Hospital following a suicide attempt. The victim’s husband
reported his wife was upset after an argument with her daughter
and consumed four or five Oxycodone pills. The victim was coherent
and answered questions from Sgt. Norman and Deputy Sheriff
Caltrider.
On 24 Nov 09 Renee E. Parker, age 19, 757
Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported she was involved in
an argument with her mother after she removed a candy cane
from their newly decorated Christmas tree. Ms. Parker said
her mother asked her not to eat the candy cane, chased her
through the home and grabbed her shirt as she was about to
exit the front door. Declining to write a statement, Ms. Parker
said she was never in fear for her safety. As a result, Deputy
Sheriff Lockhart closed this case as unfounded.
On 24 Nov 09 Deputy Sheriff Mayle requested
a summons for a fifteen year old Woodsfield resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager’s sixty-six
year old foster mother reported the teenager failed to return
home after school and her whereabouts were unknown as of 8:30
pm.
On 24 Nov 09 Mary A. Whitely, age 49, 116
1/2 Bailey Drive, Marietta, reported she believes an acquaintance
who helped her move belongings to her new residence stole a
key after the two engaged in an argument in her home. This
case remains under investigation (1104).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Christopher A. Reynolds, age 22, 16 Rubles
Court, Parkersburg, for failing to appear to serve thirty days
in jail on 16 Nov 09.
William D. Richards, age 20, 311 1/2 Walnut Street, Lowell,
for an act of domestic violence committed on 23 Nov 09.
The following individual
was processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jonathan James Hall, age 22, 194 Davis Road,
Waterford, for rape, a felony. Hall was picked up at the Belmont
Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 09 at 1:42 pm.
