On 11 Nov 09 an employee of AEP reported approximately
3,000 feet of aluminum wire, in ten sections and weighing around
550 pounds total, was stolen from a power substation at the
intersection of Buchanan Road and State Route 339 in Waterford.
This case remains under investigation (610).
On 11 Nov 09 Estell Gallagher, age 82, 417
Goss Fork Road, Whipple, reported a set of sterling silver
dinnerware and serving utensils are missing from her home.
Ms. Gallagher believes the silver was stolen in February or
March of this year and estimated its value at $1,000. This
case remains under investigation (296).
On 11 Nov 09 Detective Parks and Deputy Sheriff
Hornbeck responded to the scene of death of a thirty-four year
old New Matamoras resident. The woman’s death appears
to be due to complications related to pneumonia. This case
remains open pending the receipt of results of an autopsy.

WAs processed into the Washington County Jail:
Donald Joseph Wilson, age 23, Veto Road, Marietta, for driving
under a suspended license, for having fictitious plates and
for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors.
Wilson was arrested near milepost thirteen on State Route 7
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Nov 09 at 4:00 am.
