On 10 Nov 09 Lt. Stackpole requested a summons
for a fifteen year old Belpre resident to appear in Juvenile
Court on a charge of delinquency by theft. At around 7:30 pm
an employee reported she was informed by a customer at Par
Mar at 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, that the teenager
placed a pack of gum under his shirt and walked out of the
store. Phoned by a friend who remained at the store at the
request of the store clerk, the juvenile returned to the store
and gave back the pack of gum.
On 10 Nov 09 Sgt. Norman and Deputy Sheriff
Caltrider arrested Logan W. Grimm, age 21, 104 Dawes Circle,
Marietta, for possession of marijuana, possession of drugs,
possession of drug paraphernalia and for failing to obey a
traffic control device. Stopped after failing to stop at the
intersection of Lancaster Street and Fort Harmar Drive, Mr.
Grimm consented to a search of his vehicle. The search resulted
in the discovery of a bag of marijuana, a marijuana pipe and
two pills that were later determined to be Percocet.
On 10 Nov 09 Russell E. Burton, age 41, 528
1/2 Front Street, Marietta, reported he passed an oil truck
in a passing zone while en route to the new YMCA located at
27805 State Route 7 and that the driver of the oil truck then
followed him into the YMCA parking lot. Mr. Burton said the
unknown male approached him in an aggressive manner and shoved
him in an attempt to provoke a fight. This case remains open
pending the identification and interview of the suspect (1104).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Kayleigh Quinn Ryder, age 23, 1577 Depot Street,
Albany, OH, for contempt fort failing to pay fines, a misdemeanor.
Ryder Neader was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman
Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 09 at 10:57 am.
Paula Sue Johnson, age 36, 148 Railroad Avenue, Cowen, WV,
for failure to appear, a felony. Johnson was picked up in Duffield,
VA by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Nov 09 at 1:48 pm.
Glenn Roger Johnson Jr., age 22, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested
near the intersection of Harmar and Franklin streets by Deputy
Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 10 Nov 09 at 8:44 pm.
Logan Wesley Grimm, age 21, 104 Dawes Circle, Marietta, for
possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for
failing to obey a traffic control device, all misdemeanors.
Grimm was arrested on State Route 7 by Sgt. Norman of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Nov 09 at 8:57 pm.
