On 28 Oct 09 Anthony Hill, age 24, 53 Graham
Toad, Cutler, reported sometime during the night an unknown
suspect(s) stole a number of hunting supplies from the bed
of his truck. The stolen items include camouflage clothing,
binoculars, a cooler, wading boots and a combination knife.
Mr. Hill estimates the total cost of the stolen items is in
excess of $1,000. This case remains under investigation (790).
On 28 Oct 09 a witness reported finding a
diabetic testing kit near the intersection of State Route 550
and Cole-Coffman Road. The black bag contained an Easy Max
brand blood glucose meter, testing strips, syringes and other
items. Attempts locate the owner are ongoing (610).
On 28 Oct 09 Roberta A. Greathouse, age 59,
508 Phillips Street, Marietta, reported sometime between 7
am and noon her purse, which contained cash, credit cards and
gift cards, was stolen from her desk at the billing office
for Marietta Memorial Hospital at 27805 State Route 7, Marietta.
This case remains under investigation (1184).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Derek Douglas Oldfield, age 24, 27400 State
Route 7 Lot 50, Marietta, for two felony counts of trafficking
in drugs. Oldfield was picked up at the Noble Correctional
Institution by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 09 at 1:41 pm.
Gretchen Marie Graham, age 56, 1878 Club Drive,
Washington, WV, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Graham
was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 09
at 10:58 pm.
