On 27 Oct 09 Sgt. Norman and Deputy Sheriffs
Caltrider and Sheaves responded to a domestic violence complaint
at 13263 State Route 555, Cutler. Upon their arrival the Deputies
observed a glass table inside the home was shattered, a window
blind was torn down and noticed Randy Tabler, age 54, had multiple
scratches on his chest. Questioned about his injuries, Mr.
Tabler stated his wife Barbara, age 45, inflicted the injuries
and fled the home, possibly to McConnelsville. Mr. Tabler commented
that his wife was extremely drunk when she arrived home and
that she in fact, caused the damage to their home. As a result,
Deputy Sheaves requested a warrant for Mrs. Tabler for domestic
violence.
On 27 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Travis L. Cunningham, age 25, 9550 State Route
550, Vincent, for driving under a license suspended for a drug
conviction and for having fictitious license plates. Deputy
Smeeks stopped Mr. Cunningham near milepost twenty-four on
State Route 60 in Waterford Township. At the conclusion of
the traffic stop Deputy Smeeks arrested Mr. Cunningham on a
warrant for failure to appear and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
On 27 Oct 09 Deborah Cline, age 37, 1017 Park
Avenue, New Matamoras, reported sometime between 8 pm and 9:15
pm while she was visiting her brother at 815 Grandview Avenue,
New Matamoras, an unknown suspect broke the driver’s
side mirror off her Pontiac Grand Am. This case remains under
investigation (594).
On 27 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriff Sheaves was dispatched
to a possible domestic dispute at 3492 State Route 555, Little
Hocking. Interviewing the victim, Clinton E. Coffey, age 79,
123 Walnut Street, Belpre, and the alleged suspect, Deputy
Sheaves determined neither party made threats toward the other
nor did any physical altercation occur. Therefore, Deputy Sheaves
closed this case as unfounded.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Steven Michael Medaris, age 20, Marietta,
for three felony counts of attempted retaliation. Medaris was
arrested in Marietta
by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27
Oct 09 at 12:07 am.
Lonnie Merle Starcher, age 41, 122 Main Street Apt. A, Coolville,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Starcher
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Oct 09 at 8:28
am.
Travis Lloyd Cunningham, age 25, 9550 State
Route 550, Vincent, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Cunningham
was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Oct 09 at 2:12
pm.
Sterling Houston Roberts, age 26, 154 Dover Street, Dayton,
for a felony charge of nonsupport of dependants and for a misdemeanor
charge of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines. Roberts was picked up at the Dayton Correctional Institution
by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 26 Oct 09 at 5:12 pm.
