On 24 Oct 09 Jeremy Plessinger, age 26, 14460
County Nine Road, New Matamoras, reported sometime during the
past eight days an unknown suspect(s) entered his home and
stole a .22 caliber revolver from his computer stand. This
case remains under investigation (296).
On 24 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriff Simmons requested
a warrant for R. Scott Goddard, 34, 221 Spring Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence. Around 1 am that morning Mr. Goddard’s
girlfriend and previous live-in partner Autumn L. Joseph, age
31, fled her residence at 101 Bohl Drive, Marietta, after Mr.
Goddard assaulted her. Ms. Joseph said Mr. Goddard became enraged
after overhearing a message from her ex-husband and began punching
and slapping her in the face and body. Falling to the floor,
Ms. Joseph said Mr. Goddard kicked her several more times.
Mr. Goddard fled before the Deputies arrived and attempts to
locate him were unsuccessful.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Steven Douglas Fulton, age 56, 207 Curtis Avenue, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Fulton was arrested on Quarry Street
by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 09
at 12:29 am.
Jessica Lynn Mantz, age 31, 319 Seventh Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Mantz was arrested at her residence by
Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 09 at 1:50
am.
Gabriela H. Serna, age 29, 2302 ½ Vaughn Avenue, Parkersburg,
for OVI, speeding and for not wearing a seatbelt, all misdemeanors.
Serna was arrested on Farson Street in Belpre by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Oct 09 at 3:38 am.
Rex Allen Scarberry, age 38, 502 Stone Road, Belpre, for failure
to appear at a civil hearing. Scarberry turned himself in to
Sgt. Underwood at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct
09 at 10:40 am.
Crystal Dawn Hoover, age 28, 186 Main Street Apt. 1, Lowell,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Hoover was arrested at
her residence by Sgt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24
Oct 09 at 7:56 pm.
