On 18 Oct 09 an employee of the Washington County Juvenile Center, 1699 Colegate Drive, Marietta, reported two teenage males escaped from the facility. The Sheriff’s Office’s bloodhound was utilized but could not track the escapees farther than Greenleaf Landscaping due to the possible presence of materials that could harm the canine. When the juveniles are located authorities at the Juvenile Center will pursue charges (107, 308, 500, 1090).

SUMMONS REQUESTED FOR INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING

Following a referral from Children’s Services Detectives Johnson and Parks initiated an investigation into inappropriate contact involving Allen Breaux, age 76, 120 Washington Street, Waterford, and a fourteen year old female. The teenager reported the incidents involving Mr. Breaux took place during the summer of 2009 and involved inappropriate touching on top of clothing. Aside from the several instances when the teenager said Mr. Breaux touched her chest and backside, the juvenile stated Mr. Breaux also took her hand and placed it on his crotch, on top his clothing. When questioned, Mr. Breaux commented that he has been lonely since his wife passed away three years ago and admitted his touching of the teenager include more than hugging. Detailing the incidents over the summer, Mr. Breaux recalled specifically three occasions when he either touched the teenager or forced her to touch him. Based on their investigation, Detective Parks requested a summons for Mr. Breaux for three third degree misdemeanor counts of sexual imposition.
