On 18 Oct 09 Michelle Tornes, age 39, 678
McNeal Road, Waterford, reported sometime during the past twenty-four
hours an unknown suspect(s) scratched both sides of her Suzuki
SUV and scrawled a derogatory comment into the paint on the
back of the vehicle. This case remains under investigation
(308).
On 18 Oct 09 an employee of the Washington
County Juvenile Center, 1699 Colegate Drive, Marietta, reported
two teenage males escaped from the facility. The Sheriff’s
Office’s bloodhound was utilized but could not track
the escapees farther than Greenleaf Landscaping due to the
possible presence of materials that could harm the canine.
When the juveniles are located authorities at the Juvenile
Center will pursue charges (107, 308, 500, 1090).
SUMMONS REQUESTED FOR INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING
Following a referral from Children’s Services Detectives
Johnson and Parks initiated an investigation into inappropriate
contact involving Allen Breaux, age 76, 120 Washington Street,
Waterford, and a fourteen year old female. The teenager reported
the incidents involving Mr. Breaux took place during the summer
of 2009 and involved inappropriate touching on top of clothing.
Aside from the several instances when the teenager said Mr.
Breaux touched her chest and backside, the juvenile stated
Mr. Breaux also took her hand and placed it on his crotch,
on top his clothing. When questioned, Mr. Breaux commented
that he has been lonely since his wife passed away three years
ago and admitted his touching of the teenager include more
than hugging. Detailing the incidents over the summer, Mr.
Breaux recalled specifically three occasions when he either
touched the teenager or forced her to touch him. Based on their
investigation, Detective Parks requested a summons for Mr.
Breaux for three third degree misdemeanor counts of sexual
imposition.
