On 15 Oct 09 an employee of the Stonebridge Operating Company, 1635 Warren Chapel Road, Fleming, reported sometime between 12 Oct and 14 Oct an unknown suspect(s) stole three fifteen foot log chains, four steel chain binders and a cheater bar from a truck parked near an oil well site along Shay Ridge Road in Independence Township. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 15 Oct 09 Charlotte Fischer, age 55, 226 Alden Avenue, Marietta, reported on 9 Oct she noticed ten rolls of quarters were missing from a bedroom closet shelf. Mrs. Fischer believes the quarters were stolen the previous day when carpet cleaners were working at her home. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 15 Oct 09 Detective Staats issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Samantha R. Philbrick, age 22, 2316 23rd Avenue, Parkersburg, for possession of marijuana. A passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Greene Street in Marietta, Ms. Philbrick produced a partially smoked marijuana joint from her bra when she was asked if she was in possession of any contraband. When questioned, Ms. Philbrick admitted smoking the joint minutes prior to the traffic stop.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Christopher Allen Reynolds, age 22, 16 Rubles Court Apt. 4, Parkersburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Reynolds was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 09 at 2:44 am.

Nathan Sean Tyson, age 22, 1115 Lovers Lane, Beverly, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Tyson was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 09 at 8:25 am.

Todd Daniel Weddle, age 40,100 Cisler Lane Apt. C6, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Weddle was arrested on Cisler Lane by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 09 at 8:40 pm.
