On 13 Oct 09 Stephanie Wright, age 25, 125
Millers Lane Apt. C4, Marietta, reported a friend spent the
night at her residence and when she awoke her mother’s
vehicle and her friend were both missing. At 5:45 pm the suspect
phoned Ms. Wright and stated she left the vehicle in the Ryan’s
parking lot and that Ms. Wright could retrieve the vehicle.
This case remains open pending an interview with the suspect
and the review of surveillance footage at Ryan’s (594).
On 13 Oct 09 Ray Ulmer, age 63, 1315 Gilman
Avenue, Marietta, reported at some point during the past two
weeks four long guns were stolen from a wall rack in his home.
Mr. Ulmer stated the stolen items were given to him by his
grandfather and include a .22 rifle, a twelve gauge shotgun,
a Ruger rifle and a single shot rifle. This case remains under
investigation (308).
THREE ARRESTED, 103 GRAMS OF COCAINE SEIZED
At 1841 on October 13, 2009 Agents with the Major Crimes Task
Force utilized an undercover operative to purchase 103 grams
of cocaine for $4,800 from Keith A. Moore, age 24, 1883 East
34th Street, Lorain, OH; Christopher Karkellie, age 25, 1310
West 23rd Street, Lorain, OH; and Angel Gonzalez, age 25, 4240
Princess Anne Court, Apartment A, Lorain, OH. The controlled
drug purchase took place near Exit 16 on Interstate 77. Following
the transaction the Uniformed Division of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office stopped and arrested the suspects on
Interstate 77. The seized cocaine has a street value of approximately
$10,500.
Moore and Gonzalez were charged with trafficking in crack
cocaine, a second degree felony; Karkellie was charged with
trafficking in crack cocaine, a second degree felony and possession
of crack cocaine, a fourth degree felony. All three are incarcerated
in the Washington County Jail in lieu of bond pending their
appearance in Marietta Municipal Court.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Anthony Scott Boling, age 33, 803 Second Street
Apt. A, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license and
for three counts of contempt for failing to pay fines, all
misdemeanors. Boling was arrested at his residence by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Oct 09 at 11:10 am.
Serena Charlene Lindsey, age 33, 415 Third Street Apt. 1,
Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony.
Lindsey was arrested at the office of her probation officer
by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Oct 09 at 3:43 pm.
Keith Anthony Moore, age 24, 1833 34th Street, Lorain, OH,
for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Moore was arrested near
milepost seventeen on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Holbert
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 09
at 7:36 pm.
Christopher Ryan Karkellie, age 25, 1310 Lord Street, Lorain,
OH, for trafficking in drugs and for possession of drugs, both
felonies. Karkellie was arrested near milepost seventeen on
Interstate 77 by Detective Staats of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Oct 09 at 7:49 pm.
Angel David Gonzalez, age 25, 2253 Elyria Avenue, Lorain,
OH, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Gonzalez was arrested
near milepost seventeen on Interstate 77 by Sgt. Norman of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 09 at 8:04 pm.
