On 11 Oct 09 Sally Roddy, age 38, 681 Rocky Point Road, Fleming, reported sometime during the night an unknown suspect(s) forced open a door to her garage and removed a motorcycle belonging to her boyfriend. Searching the area near the rear of the garage, Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck located the undamaged motorcycle. This case remains under investigation.

On 11 Oct 09 Renae Kocher, age 41, 10 State Route 339, Belpre, reported her live-in partner’s son, Tyler J. Taulbee, age 18, flew into a rage after household members refused to drive him to a gun shop to purchase a rifle for which he saved money. Witnesses stated Mr. Taulbee threw a sledge hammer across the front yard, kicked open the door to the home and engaged in a verbal altercation with his brother and then Ms. Kocher. The argument escalated to a point when Mr. Taulbee shoved Ms. Kocher and caused her to fear that Mr. Taulbee would strike her. When questioned, Mr. Taulbee waived his Miranda Rights and confirmed the statements given by witnesses. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck arrested Mr. Taulbee for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individual WAs processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tyler John Taulbee, age 18, 10 State Route 339, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Taulbee was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 09 at 1:31 pm.
