On 10 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to Donald J. Evans, age 49, 1067 Runge Avenue, Struthers, OH, for traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Evans on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in Dunham Township.

On 10 Oct 09 Mark Vanhorn, age 24, 312 Fifth Street, Lowell, reported sometime between midnight and 6:20 am an unknown suspect(s) threw an unknown object at his Jeep Cherokee and caused substantial damage to the windshield of the vehicle. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 10 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck was on patrol when he noticed trash dumped along Cemetery Road in Little Hocking. Unable to locate any identifying items, Deputy Hornbeck closed this case after arranging to have the township trustees properly dispose of the garbage.

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Larry Dale Haught Jr., age 29, 555 Dodd Run Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Haught was arrested on the 400 block of Greene Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Oct 09 at 1:17 am.
