On 6 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriffs Anderson and Mankins
responded to a domestic altercation at 1706 Lowell Hill Road,
Lowell. Intoxicated after drinking heavily throughout the evening,
Tyler A. Rockhold, age 18, attacked his mother’s live-in
boyfriend, Michael Jeffers, age 27, when Mr. Jeffers attempted
to intervene in an between Rockhold and his mother. Mr. Jeffers,
who was also intoxicated, told the Deputies that Rockhold shoved
and punched him so he tackled the teenager to the floor. The
two then wrestled for a short time and exchanged punches while
on the floor. The two parties separated shortly thereafter
and Mr. Jeffers broke a chair in anger. Mr. Rockhold’s
mother stated she did not give her son permission to consume
alcohol in the home nor did she purchase any alcohol for his
consumption. Mr. Jeffers concurred with his girlfriend’s
statement, saying that he purchased the alcohol in the refrigerator
for himself. As a result of the incident, Deputy Anderson arrested
Mr. Rockhold for domestic violence and underage consumption
of alcohol and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Danita Leann Stegner, age 38, 752 Luke Chute Road, Waterford,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Stegner was arrested at the Valley
Inn by Patrolman Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Oct 09 at 1:00
am.
Julie Ann Coultrap, age 36, 3251 State Route 83, Beverly,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Coultrap was arrested in Beverly
by Patrolman Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 Oct 09 at 1:01 am.
Melissa Jo Sterling, age 24, 106 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta,
for OVI, driving left of center and for failure to comply with
the order/signal of an officer, all misdemeanors. Sterling
was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 6 Oct 09 at 2:30 am.
Tyler Anthony Rockhold, age 18, 1706 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell,
for domestic violence and for underage consumption of alcohol,
both misdemeanors. Rockhold was arrested at his residence by
Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 6 Oct 09 at 2:45 am.
Jason Scott O’Donnell, age 28, 3515
Plum Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for violating the terms
of his probation, both misdemeanors. O’Donnell turned
himself in to Corrections Officer Smith and was processed into
the Washington County Jail on 6 Oct 09 at 2:00 pm.
Richard Daniel Loy, age 40, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Loy was
arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Oct 09 at 2:50
pm.
