On 5 Oct 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson was dispatched
to the scene of a family dispute outside the residence of Kenneth
Miller, age 40, 1096 Walsh Road, Vincent. At the scene, Mayford
Miller, age 51, 1114 Walsh Road, informed Deputy Anderson that
he and his brother were involved in a disagreement over a water
bill they share for their property. Mayford said his brother
became angry, picked up a piece of wood and threatened to hit
him with it. After Kenneth swung twice at his brother with
the wood, Mayford picked up one as well and swung at his brother’s
weapon, breaking the piece of wood into two pieces. The two
then separated and returned to their respective homes. Not
to be left out of the excitement, Mayford’s live-in girlfriend
Sharon Schoolcraft, age 35, shouted from her residence to Kenneth
Miller’s wife that she was going to “kick her [butt].” Based
on his investigation Deputy Anderson arrested Kenneth Miller
for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington
County Jail. Deputy Anderson also requested a summons for Ms.
Schoolcraft for disorderly conduct.
On 5 Oct 09 Donald A. Nichols, age 54, 90
Nichols Road, Whipple, reported sometime since he last visited
his farm on 30 Aug 09 an unknown suspect(s) broke down the
front door of the residence on the property. Mr. Nichols, who
currently lives in Florida, said nothing appears missing from
the residence. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 5 Oct 09 Mary E. Lowe, age 41, 3490 Highland
Ridge Road, Lowell, reported at some point between 25 Sep and
5 Oct an unknown suspect(s) stole the license plate off her
travel trailer while it was parked at Lang’s Campground
at 290 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta. This case remains under
investigation (790).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Thomas Edward Donahue Jr., age 26, 237 Rummer
Road, Marietta, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a
misdemeanor. Donahue was arrested at his residence by Deputy
Sheriff Hornbeck and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 5 Oct 09 at 8:54 am.
Timothy James Seevers, age 38, 127 Ward Street,
Marietta, for disseminating material harmful to juveniles,
a felony. Seevers was picked up in Massillon, OH by Deputy
Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 5 Oct 09 at 4:06 pm.
Kenneth Eugene Miller, age 40, 1096 Walsh Road, Vincent, for
domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested at his
residence by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 09 at 9:15 pm.
