On 26 Sep 09 a sixteen year old Marietta resident
reported he inadvertently left his wallet on a desk when he
left work at Influent that evening. When he returned after
realizing he left the wallet it was gone. The victim said the
wallet contained approximately $100 and other miscellaneous
items. This case remains under investigation (610).
On 26 Sep 09 Sgt. Lockhart and Deputy Sheriff
Carr investigated a domestic dispute involving James B. Russell,
age 24, 2455 Burnett Road, Cutler, and the mother of his child,
Erica Hildebrand, age 23, 146 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg. Exchanging
custody of the child at Mr. Russell’s residence, Ms.
Hildebrand attacked Mr. Russell after he refused to allow his
daughter to leave with Ms. Hildebrand because she did not have
a child safety seat. Ms. Hildebrand contradicted Mr. Russell’s
statement and claimed Mr. Russell threw a car seat at her and
shoved her to the ground. However, a video recorded by Mr.
Russell’s mother because of prior incidents involving
Ms. Hildebrand shows no evidence supporting Ms. Hildebrand’s
claim and instead shows her hitting and slapping Mr. Russell.
Consequently, Deputy Carr arrested Ms. Hildebrand for domestic
violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
William Chris Offerman, age 45, 826 Arietta Circle, Auburndale,
FL, for OVI and for failing to obey the right of way, both
misdemeanors. Offerman was arrested on Putnam Street by Patrolman
Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 09 at 12:35 am.
Erica Diane Hildebrand, age 23, 146 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hildebrand was arrested
on Burnett Road by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 09 at 12:40 pm.
Teresa Mae Stafford, age 44, 818 Ridge Street, Marietta, for
two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Stafford was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 26 Sep 09 at 5:26 pm.
James Andrew Brookover, age 49, 1700 McDonald Road, Vincent,
for OVI and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors.
Brookover was arrested on State Route 550 in Barlow by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 26 Sep 09 at 8:26 pm.
Ruth Ann Barnhart, age 51, 45240 State Route 7, New Matamoras,
for OVI and for passing in a hazardous zone, both misdemeanors.
Barnhart was arrested on State Route 7 by Chief Bourne of the
New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 26 Sep 09 at 10:07 pm.
