On 14 Sep 09 Deputy Sheriff Simmons requested
a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The juvenile’s mother
reported the juvenile failed to return home out two pre-designated
times the previous afternoon and evening and refused to answer
his mobile phone. The mother stated when the teenager phoned
at 1 am he sounded intoxicated, would not tell her where he
was and refused to return home.
On 14 Sep 09 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Jessica L. Blackley, age 19, 1040 East Boulevard, Aurora,
OH, for traveling 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped
Ms. Blackley on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in Dunham
Township.
On 14 Sep 09 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Danny E. Thomas, 106 Dawes Circle, Marietta, for driving
under a license suspended for having unpaid child support and
for operating a vehicle with a registration that expired in
August 2009. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Thomas on the 400 block
of Second Street in Marietta.
On 14 Sep 09 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Desiree N. Washington, age 20, 45 Suzanne Street, Little
Hocking, for traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson
stopped Ms. Washington on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road
in Dunham Township.
On 14 Sep 09 Brittany Tyson, age 22, 1115
Lovers Lane, Beverly, was en route to Marietta Memorial Hospital
for treatment to a bee sting, seated in the back seat of a
vehicle when her husband Nathan, age 22, who was seated on
the passenger side, began disrupting the driver. Highly intoxicated
and acting irrationally, Mr. Tyson thrust the gearshift into
park and grabbed the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to
swerve into the oncoming and nearly colliding with an approaching
vehicle. Upset that the driver would not return him to his
residence to retrieve his vehicle, Mr. Tyson also attempted
to remove the driver’s leg from the gas pedal. The driver
stopped the vehicle along State Route 60 and flagged down the
passing Beverly-Waterford emergency squad. As Mrs. Tyson received
treatment from a squad member, Mr. Tyson interfered and grabbed
the squad member’s hair in an attempt gain access to
his wife. Fleeing prior to the arrival of Sgt. Norman and Deputy
Sheriffs Sheaves and Travaglio, Mr. Tyson was found hiding
in weeds along the roadway. In consequence of Mr. Tyson’s
behavior he was arrested for a felony charge of assault on
emergency personnel and for misdemeanor charges of domestic
violence, obstructing justice and disorderly conduct by intoxication.
At the Washington County Jail Mr. Tyson tested .256 BAC.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Glendon Lorain Crawford, age 45, 406 Fulton Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Crawford was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Wright of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
13 Sep 09 at 11:28 pm.
Timothy James Seevers, age 38, 127 Ward Street, Marietta,
for disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a felony. Seevers
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Wright of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Sep 09 at 1:25 am.
Bo Damian Ladeaux, age 20, 111 Victory Place,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony.
Ladeaux was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gilchrist
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Sep 09
at 1:40 pm.
Gina Marie Loy, age 21, 202 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for trafficking
in drugs, a felony. Loy was arrested at her residence by Detective
Smithberger of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Sep 09
at 1:54 pm.
Nathan Sean Tyson, age 22, 1115 Lovers Lane,
Beverly, for a felony charge of assault and for misdemeanor
charges of domestic violence, obstructing justice and disorderly
conduct by intoxication. Tyson was arrested
in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 14 Sep 09 at 8:50 pm.
Randy Dewayne Smith, age 20, 2043 85th Street, Cleveland,
for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Smith was arrested near milepost five on
Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Sep 09 at 11:00 pm.
Sarah Yvonne Srp, age 19, 1018 Madison Avenue, Cleveland,
for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Srp was
arrested near milepost five on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 14 Sep 09 at 11:22 pm.
