On 12 Sep 09 Margot E. Justice, age 69, 4895 State Route 555, Little Hocking, reported a chainsaw, a tree stand, a pitchfork and a shovel were stolen from a vacant residence she owns at 760 Wildwood Lake Road, Little Hocking, sometime between 9:30 pm on 11 Sep and 11 am the following morning. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 12 Sep 09 Stephanie J. Rutter, age 55, 144 Harmar Street, Marietta, reported she is in the process of moving from her former residence at 302 Third Street, Lowell, and sometime between 6 am on 11 sep and 9 am on 12 Sep a Sony desktop computer and two DVDs were stolen from the residence. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 12 Sep 09 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Lamarr D. Marshall, age 26, 1500 Bridge Road Apt. 404, Charleston, WV, for traveling 81 mph in a 65 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Marshall near milepost twelve on Interstate 77 in Salem Township.

SUSPECT ARRESTED WITH FIREARM AT STERNWHEEL FESTIVAL

At 10:45 pm on 12 Sep 09 the Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert A. Tinker, age 62, 8791 Hubbard Drive South, Galloway, OH, for a felony charge of illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment and for misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing and using a weapon while intoxicated. Inside a liquor establishment on Front Street drinking, Mr. Tinker told several patrons inside the business that he was an assassin employed by the CIA. Following a disagreement with a patron, Mr. Tinker walked outside and began cussing at nearby people. Confronted by an individual concerning his use of obscene language in front of children Mr. Tinker removed .25 caliber handgun from his pocket, pointed it at the individual and threatened to shoot him. Tinker was arrested in a nearby alley without incident. Tinker is being held without bond in the Washington County Jail pending an appearance in Marietta Municipal Court.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Larry Glen Williams, age 61, 20631 Jeffrey Road, Dexter City, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 09 at 8:44 am.

Charles Lewis Sexton, age 47, 1209 Cisler Drive Apt. D, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misde meanor. Sexton was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 09 at 4:52 pm.

Robert Arthur Tinker, age 63, 8791 Hubbard Drive, Galloway, OH, for a felony charge of illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment and for misdemeanor charges of using a weapon while intoxicated and aggravated menacing. Tinker was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 09 at 9:15 pm.

Kelly Scott Goins, age 29, 509 Eighth Street, Marietta, for OVI, for driving under an FRA suspended license, for driving outside the marked lanes of travel and for possession of drugs, all misdemeanors. Goins was arrested in Lowell by Patrolman Weiker of the Lowell Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 09 at 10:00 pm.
