On 11 Sep 09 Lt. Wilson arrested Shawn M. Schofield, age 33, 22 Suzanne Street, Little Hocking, for OVI. Observed by an off duty Deputy swerving out of his lane and nearly colliding with an oncoming vehicle on Arrowhead Road, Mr. Schofield was detained after he pulled into the parking lot of Marathon in Little Hocking. Lt. Wilson arrived shortly thereafter and administered field sobriety tests. Following his poor performance on the tests Schofield was transported to the Washington County Jail where he refused a BAC test.

On 11 Sep 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested summonses for Andrew B. Russo, age 30, and Susanne R. Wendt, age 22, both of 836 Pike Street Apt. 37, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting. Arguing over financial matters, Ms. Wendt slapped Mr. Russo, threw a cup of Kool Aid at him and allegedly poured lemonade on his computer. In retaliation Mr. Russo pushed Ms. Wendt onto a bed and held her there by her wrists. Neither party reported being in fear for their safety and both agreed to separate for the evening.

On 11 Sep 09 Duane F. Perdue, age 50, 2691 Lake Road Apt. A, Fleming, reported he allowed an acquaintance he knew as Beth to spend the night at his apartment and he believes she stole $350 from his wallet while he was asleep on his couch. Interviewed at her residence, the suspect, Elizabeth A. Russell, age 21, 1515 Camp Hervida Road, Waterford, denied stealing any money from Mr. Perdue. However, when confronted with inconsistencies in her statement, Ms. Russell admitted taking the money and spending it on gas and on a phone card. Returning $235 she had left, Ms. Russell was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Anderson for theft and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 11 Sep 09 Brad Rowe, age 30, 325 Weppler Road, Lowell, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked truck and stole a twelve gauge shotgun and a .22 rifle. This case remains under investigation (610).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Leroy Carpenter Jr., age 33, 514 Third Street, Marietta, for OVI and for driving under an OVI suspended license, both misdemeanors. Carpenter was arrested on Third Street by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Sep 09 at 7:45 am.

Elizabeth Ann Russell, age 21, 1515 Camp Hervida Road, Waterford, for theft, domestic violence, telephone harassment and driving under a suspended license, all misdemeanors. Russell was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Sep 09 at 11:16 am.

Thomas Paul Daugherty, age 29, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Daugherty was arrested at the Adult Parole Office by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Sep 09 at 11:55 am.

Michael Paul Stacy, age 31, 53 Teri Lane, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Stacy was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Sep 09 at 4:16 pm.
