On 5 Sep 09 Deputy Sheriff Smithberger arrested Aaron L. Dunn, age 33, 836 Pike Street Apt. 15, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Residents at Southgate Trailer Park reported Mr. Dunn was acting suspiciously, walking around a looking in trailer windows. Staggering as he walked, Mr. Dunn had a strong odor of alcohol and tested .124 BAC.

On 5 Sep 09 James P. Fugate, age 19, 1305 Blennerhassett Avenue, Belpre, reported he believes a friend with whom he is engaged in a dispute over a computer broke the left taillight of his vehicle while he was at work that day. This case remains under investigation (608).

On 5 Sep 09 Deputy Sheriff Reeder responded to a structure fire at 4433 County Nine Road in Reno. On the property of James Boyce, age 26, a wood sided outbuilding as well as a metal outbuilding were ablaze. The Little Muskingum Fire Department extinguished the fire without further incident. The State Fire Marshall’s Office is being contacted to ascertain the fire’s cause.

On 5 Sep 09 Lainana Kerns, age 31, 306 Florence Street, Belpre, reported she forgot that she placed her purse on the ground next to a vendor’s stall and when she returned to retrieve it ten minutes later it was missing. Ms. Kerns said her purse contained her debit card, $12 in cash and other personal items. This case remains under investigation (707).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Michael Deems, age 27, 725 Seventh Street, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license, speeding and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Deems was arrested on State Route 60 in Lowell by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Sep 09 at 4:42 pm.

Jamie Christopher Waters, age 37, 14002 State Route 339, Beverly, for endangering children, breach of recognizance and for failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Waters was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 2:05 am.

Victor Ovid Knick Jr., age 33, 7170 Veto Road, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. Knick was arrested on Gilman Avenue by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 3:38 am.

Shawn Lane Pierce, age 31, 60 Heeter Road Apt. B, Newport, for two felony counts of robbery and for a misdemeanor charge of theft. Pierce was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 9:26 am.

Robin Lynn Sandlin, age 45, 307 Belle Cemetery Road, New Matamoras, for OVI, for driving under an OVI suspended license, for having expired license plates and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Sandlin was arrested near milepost twenty-five on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 5:05 pm.

Steven Douglas Fulton, age 56, 207 Curtis Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct and for being in possession of an open container of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Fulton was arrested on Seventh Street by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 6:28 pm.

Brittany Maria Martin, age 23, 816 ½ Third Street, Marietta, for domestic violence and assault, both misdemeanors. Martin was arrested on Eighth Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 8:27 pm.

Amy Suzzanne Farnsworth, age 23, Nashville, TN, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, for violating the terms of her probation and for two counts of failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested at 122 Harmar Street by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 10:27 pm.

Rhonda Deann Clark, age 33, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for burglary, a felony. Clark was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 11:12 pm.

William Edward Foreman, age 34, 802 Front Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Foreman was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 11:22 pm.

Jesse Scott Books, age 27, Nashville, TN, for violating the terms of his probation and for three counts of failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Books was arrested on Harmar Street by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 09 at 11:38 pm.
