On 2 Sep 09 the owner of a storage facility
located at the intersection of Blue Knob Road and State Route
550 reported the padlock was cut off one of the units. Examining
the contents of his unit, the renter reported eight collectible
knives, three collectible Lincoln penny sets, a Cross pen set
and two or three Zippo lighters were missing. This case remains
under investigation (610).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Brent A. Bair, age 25, 18891 S. Canaan Road,
Guysville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,400.10.
Kevin W. Reynolds, age 39, 8877 McKown Lane, Beverly, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $1,141.40.
Kenneth A. Bay, age 21, 1856 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, for
failing to appear for sentencing on 25 Aug 09.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Nicholas Michael Hanner, age 19, 117 Keyser
Street, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Hanner was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 09 at
12:34 am.
Allen Edward Sully, age 48, 36935 State Route 7 Apt. 5C, Marietta,
for operating a vehicle without a license, for having fictitious
plates and for driving under a suspended license, all misdemeanors.
Sully was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Sep 09 at 1:02 am.
Kevin James McRhea, age 39, 2810 Frame Drive, Belpre, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. McRhea was arrested on River Road by Patrolman
Proctor of the Belpre City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 09 at 3:57 am.
Brent Allan Bair, age 25, 18891 Canaan Road,
Guysville, for felony charges of theft and forgery and for
misdemeanor charges of violating the terms of his probation
and failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines. Bair was picked up in Nelsonville by Deputy Sheriff
Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on
2 Sep 09 at 12:05 pm.
Hillary Ann Callihan, age 18, 914 Front Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Callihan
was arrested at the Career Center by Probation Officer Seckman
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 09 at
12:20 pm.
Derick Eugene Simpkins, age 21, 407 ½ Sixth Street
Apt. B, Marietta, for burglary, a felony. Simpkins was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on
2 Sep 09 at 2:30 pm.
Justin Tyler Gibbs, age 18, Greene Street, Marietta, for violating
the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Gibbs was arrested
in Marietta by Probation Officer Gregory and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 09 at 3:30 pm.
Chester Eugene Speer, age 52, 1177 Gran Boulevard, Detroit,
MI, for operating a vehicle without a license and for speeding,
both misdemeanors. Speer was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Sep 09 at 8:52 pm.
