On 29 Aug 09 the Little Hocking Fire Department transported a fifty year old Little Hocking resident to Camden Clark Hospital following a suicide attempt. Unconscious when a roommate found her, the victim left a suicide note and ingested an overdose of clonazepam. The treating ER doctor later reported the victim was conscious and would fully recover.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jose Armando Lopez, age 25, 4525 Sparling Road, Waterford, for OVI, for operating a vehicle with an expired license and for failing to obey the right of way, all misdemeanors. Lopez was arrested on Ohio Street by Patrolman Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Aug 09 at 12:44 am.

Garry Lee Bohl, age 44, 111 Montgomery Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Bohl was arrested on Main Street by Patrolman Freed of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Aug 09 at 8:10 pm.

Michael Shawn Williams, age 32, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Williams was arrested on Fifth Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Aug 09 at 10:52 pm.
