On 26 Aug 09 Deputy Sheriff Mayle requested summonses for Kyle S. Mock, age 26, 4375 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville, for possession of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Traveling southbound on Interstate 77, Mr. Mock was stopped for having illegal window tint when Deputy Smeeks’ canine indicated the presence of drugs in Mr. Mock’s vehicle. The search that followed resulted in the seizure of several burnt marijuana joints and a pack of rolling papers.

On 26 Aug 09 a neighbor reported noticing a basement door open on a vacant house at 1480 County House Lane, Marietta. Inspecting the residence, Deputy Sheriff Holbert determined a broken window in the basement was the point of entry. A further check of the home revealed the suspect(s) removed approximately fifty feet of copper pipe and twelve feet of copper wiring. This case remains under investigation.

Bryan D. Babcock, age 42, 470 Cornerville Road, Reno, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $2,759.90.

Brian C. Barnett, age 21, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $422.50.

April K. Boggs, age 31, 51485 Township Road 43, Long Bottom, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $617.94.

David Cuthbertson, age 49, PO Box 275, Lowell, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

Michael E. Hoffert, age 26, 110 Colonial Square, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by being charged with driving under a suspended license.

Lionel J. Hollingsworth, age 20, 1133 Market Street, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment.

Scott A. Huxley, age 26, 749 Greene Street Apt. A, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $276.90.

Jacob M. Shaffer, age 22, 27317 State Route 7 Apt. A, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain contact with his probation officer, for failing to appear for a scheduled appointment and for failing to show proof of completing an assessment as ordered by the court.

Timothy J. Seevers, age 38, 127 Ward Street, Marietta, for disseminating matter harmful to juveniles on 18 Aug 09.

Michael S. Williams, age 32, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,043.90.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Steven Todd Casto, age 37, 108 Mound Drive, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Casto was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 09 at 9:45 am.

Andrew Michael Russell, age 23, 306 Colegate Avenue, Marietta, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Russell was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 09 at 8:34 pm.

Akima Antoinne Webb, age 28, 102 Flintwood Drive, Marietta, for resisting arrest and for disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Webb was arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta by Officer Johnson of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 09 at 11:20 pm.

Justin Alexzander Simpson, age 20, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Simpson was arrested in Devola by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 09 at 11:25 pm.

Stephanie Larraine Wright, age 25, 125 Millers Lane Apt. C4, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Wright was arrested in Devola by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 09 at 11:29 pm.
