On 14 Aug 09 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued a citation to Lewanda L. Anthony, age 53, 45037 Ludolph Ridge Road, New Matamoras, for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Travaglio originally stopped Ms. Anthony for having a partially obstructed license plate on State Route 7 near milepost fifty in Grandview Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Meredith Lee Burris, age 29, 614 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Burris was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 4:09 am.

Richard Daniel Loy, age 40, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Loy was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 9:26 am.

Jeffrey Louis Kaiden, age 49, 215 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Kaiden was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 12:13 pm.

Douglas Perry Christopher, age 40, 1006 Orchard Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Christopher was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 2:56 pm.

William Ray Adams, age 33, 9550 State Route 550, Vincent, for driving under a suspended license, for not wearing a seat belt and for failing to obey the right of way, all misdemeanors. Adams was arrested on State Route 339 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 5:22 pm.

Christopher Corey Griffin, age 25, 5230 Rye Road, Reedsville, for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Griffin was picked up at the Athens county line by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 5:40 pm.

Amanda Ann Riley, age 20, 1619 Washington Boulevard Apt. 6, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Riley was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 7:30 pm.

Brenda Lou Welch, age 44, 6626 Vore Ridge Road, Athens, for driving under a suspended license and for giving false information to avoid a ticket, both misdemeanors. Welch was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 09 at 7:51 pm.
