On 7 Aug 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson responded
to the scene of a vehicle fire at 1351 Cedar Ridge Road, Lowell.
The owner of the Dodge Dakota, Joshua Harris, age 33, stated
a loud boom woke him and he looked out a window and saw his
truck ablaze. The cause of the fire appears to be electrical;
no foul play is suspected.
On 7 Aug 09 Deputy Sheriff Mayle issued a
citation to Judd A. M. Burke, age 18, 27161 Cincinnati Ridge
Road, Coolville, for operating a vehicle without a license
and for failure to register a motor vehicle. Deputy Mayle stopped
Mr. Mayle on Gantsville Road near State Route 124 in Belpre
Township.
On 7 Aug 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Gomez A. Torres Jr., age 21, 501 Merrill Street,
Bussey, IA, for traveling 91 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Mankins
stopped Mr. Torres near milepost fifteen on Interstate 77 in
Aurelius Township.
On 7 Aug 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Courtney T. Heilman, age 21, 2717 Wilmington
Road, Lebanon, OH, for traveling 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy
Mankins stopped Ms. Heilman on State Route 7 near Bramblewood
Heights Road in Warren Township.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Amber Dionne Martin, age 19, 24 Atkinson Road,
Walker, WV, for a felony charge of aggravated burglary and
for a misdemeanor charge of assault. Martin was picked up at
the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Malone and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 09 at 11:50
am.
Scott Christopher Garber, age 37, 613 Thomas Street, Belpre,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Garber
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 09 at
5:31 pm.
Kimberly Lynn Quenga, age 29, 613 Thomas Street, Belpre, for
domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Quenga was arrested at her
residence by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 09 at
5:46 pm.
Billy Joe Guess, age 21, 22525 Brimstone Road, Coolville,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Guess
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 09 at
5:57 pm.
Joseph Brian Hall, age 23, 400 Sixth Street, Belpre, for illegal
conveyance of items into a detention facility and for violating
the terms of his probation, both felonies. Hall was charged
by Detective Richards of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug
09 at 7:35 pm.
