On 1 Aug 09 Jeffery M. McDonald, age 37, 1435 Coal Run Road, Marietta, reported he has been living with his twin brother Jason and the two were involved in an altercation that morning. Jeffery said the two argued about money and his brother attacked him while he sat on the floor, leaning against a mattress. On numerous occasions Jason attempted to instigate his brother into a fight and hit Jeffery in the back when he threw a stool. Jason admitted fighting with his brother but claimed he only responded after being pushed into a door jamb. Based on his investigation, Sgt. Johnson arrested Jason McDonald for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Eric Scott Swiney, age 22, 5 Sycamore Street Apt. 2, Chauncey, OH, for driving under a suspended license, for operating a vehicle with an expired license and for speeding, all misdemeanors. Swiney was arrested near milepost two on US 50 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Aug 09 at 10:00 am.

Debbie Kay Buckley, age 52, 1200 Lynch Church Road, Marietta, for failing to confine/restrain a dog, a misdemeanor. Buckley was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Aug 09 at 11:05 am.

Jason David McDonald, age 37, 1435 Coal Run Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. McDonald was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Aug 09 at 12:40 pm.

Kevin Scott Ball, age 37, 107 Colonial Square Apt. D, Belpre, for breach of recognizance and failure to appear, both felonies. Ball was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Aug 09 at 9:50 pm.
