On 31 Jul 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested a warrant for Justin D. Coull, age 24, 1821 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, for violating the terms of a protection order. Shortly after being served that evening with a temporary protection order with his estranged wife as the protected party, Mr. Coull phoned the residence where his wife is currently living.

On 31 Jul 09 Terry Sephfus Jr., age 30, 2493 Layman Road, Vincent, reported he departed for work on 26 Jul and when he returned on 31 Jul he discovered holes in a window and in his home’s siding that appeared to be caused by birdshot fired from a shotgun. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 31 Jul 09 Deputy Sheriff Simmons responded to the scene of death of a fifty-seven year old Marietta resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Cody James Fitzpatrick, age 21, 1214 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Fitzpatrick was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 09 at 8:34 am.

Kenneth Allen Bay, age 20, 1856 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, for a felony charge of failure to appear and for misdemeanor charges of assault, receiving stolen property and failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Bay was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 09 at 10:25 am.

Brian Andrew Huff, age 40, 10 Browns Road Apt. 5A, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Huff was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 09 at 11:15 am.
