On 20 Jul 09 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Tony T. Green, age 32, 204 Davidson Street, Bluefield,
WV, for operating a vehicle with an expired license. Deputy
Smeeks originally stopped Mr. Green for speeding near milepost
twelve on Interstate 77 in Salem Township.
On 20 Jul 09 Arlene Archer, age 64, 319 Archer
Road, Lowell, was driving westbound on Waterford Road when
she said she fell asleep at the wheel. Ms. Archer’s Chevy
Trailblazer traveled across the centerline and sideswiped the
guardrail of the eastbound lane approximately a half mile west
of Huck Road. Ms. Archer’s vehicle sustained non-functional
damage; she reported no injuries (1090).
On 20 Jul 09 a relative reported Karen Hayhurst,
age 56, 10 Browns Road Apt. 9B, Marietta, has not been seen
or heard from since she picked up her paycheck on 12 Jul 09.
The relative stated Ms. Hayhurst may have mental health problems
and could possibly be en route to Myrtle Beach. Ms. Hayhurst
drives a silver 2002 Ford Escort, is 5’ 4” 125
pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. This case remains
under investigation (594).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ronald Wayne Fisher, age 34, 129 ½ East
Spring Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony.
Fisher was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution
by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 20 Jul 09 at 9:50 am.
Chad Anthony Moore, age 39, 1205 County House Lane Apt. A,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Moore was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jul 09
at 12:17 pm.
Mark Allen Burke, age 55, 10 Maple Shade Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Burke
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jul 09 at 1:57
pm.
Dallas Willey Farnsworth, age 35, Marietta, for failure to
appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor.
Farnsworth was arrested on the west side of Marietta by Patrolman
Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jul 09 at 8:10 pm.
