On 7 Jul 09 the Reno Fire Department transported a forty-two year old Sandhill Road resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment following a prescription drug overdose. A witness who found the victim said the victim told her that he had a bad day and took between eight and twenty of his prescribed Seroquel pills to help him sleep (805).

On 7 Jul 09 Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck requested a summons for a twelve year old Lowell resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by rape. The affidavit Deputy Hornbeck filed for the summons alleges the juvenile engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a three year old female at a residence in Lowell. Around midnight last night the victim’s mother reported she walked into a bedroom and observed the inappropriate activity. Since the suspect has no immediate contact with the victim, Juvenile Court authorities are allowing the suspect to remain at home on the condition that he may not have contact with the victim.

On 7 Jul 09 Rebecca Burwell, age 36, 2855 Heldman Road, Wingett Run, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) shattered the driver’s side window of her Chevy truck. This case remains under investigation (805).

On 7 Jul 09 Jerry D. Coleman, age 48, 12790 State Route 676, Waterford, reported several acquaintances were visiting his residence and refused to leave when he asked them. Sgt. Johnson determined another resident at the home asked the guests to remain at the home and closed this case as unfounded.
